What is the Women’s Media Summit?
The summit is in response to the long-standing gender imbalance in the media industry and the representation of women in media.This summit will gather individual storytellers in all media, legislators, legal experts, and change-makers to strategize a 50/50 representation of women’s voices in our cultural narrative.
The Goal: Create a list of actionable strategies with benchmarks that will be executed to create an immediate shift toward gender equity among American storytellers.
Come join a diverse group of women from all fields to come up with working solutions and chart a new course towards gender parity in the media.

What’s the schedule of events?
- Day 1: Speakers and panelists will provide an overview of the issues
- Day 2: Speakers, panelists, and participants will break up into nine facilitated working groups that will conduct deep dive conversations covering multiple solution and strategies.
- Day 3: The working groups will present the top strategies to the entire group who will vote on the order of priorities.
This summit is especially timely given the current political climate.
