What: In this classic screwball comedy, a pretty granddaughter from an eccentric family falls for the handsome son from an uptight, conservative Wall Street banker’s family. Laughs are plenty when the two family’s world meet up.

Hair: The Musical

The Peregrine Theater Company presents the summer run of the popular musical “Hair”. Book and lyrics by James Rado & Gerome Ragni. Music by Galt MacDermot. Directed by Kyle Pleasant. Peregrine’s Executive Director, Adam Berry, notes: “In our current social and political climate the musical HAIR is absolutely relevant and its message is extremely powerful. Young men and women of America standing up for what they believe, protesting, creating change and fighting for what is right is as much in the forefront of today’s news as it was during the 1960s.”

Ptown Male Call

The nostalgia runs hot this summer as we remember the legendary male strippers of a bygone era. Ptown Male Call is Provincetown’s only all-male, professional dance troupe.

When: Tue – Sun beginning in mid-June through Labor Day. Showtime: 10 pm

Bearleque: All-Male Bear Burlesque Troupe

What: The All-Male burlesque Troupe Bearlesque performs for 2 nights at the Crown & Anchor!  Bearlesque – Turnpyke, Kristian Mingle, Broody Valentino, Miscellaneous Dom Top, Angus Le Beef – have been taking it all off for audiences for 5 years now.  Emcee Glam Daddy (Josh Schonewolf) host this Woof-inducing burlesque revue.

When: Sun, 7/8 & Mon 7/9 at 10 pm

Star Boys with Kim David Smith

What: New York performance artist Kim David Smith and his fully naked Star Boys perform their new sci-fi burlesque show this summer at the Crown & Anchor. Kim David Smith starred in last summer’s production of Salome at the Provincetown Theater.
