Ptown Portuguese Festival
Provincetown celebrates its cultural heritage with the Provincetown Portuguese Festival. The festival kicks-off tonight with the annual Seamen’s Bank Compartilhe Na Nossa Mesa or Share Our Table.
The two highlights of the festival are the parade on Saturday afternoon and the Blessing of the Fleet on Sunday afternoon. But there are plenty of events and activities running all weekend – food, music, dancing and family events!
Provincetown Dance Festival
From hip-hop to ballet, from tap to contemporary and classical Indian dance, the Provincetown Dance Festival showcases a range of dancing styles.
This year’s artists include Seattle’s Spectrum Dance Theater, with work by Tony Award nominee, Donald Byrd, Rachna Agrawal (Hartford), Rovaco Dance Company (New York City), Case Closed! (Providence), Portland Ballet (Portland, ME), Boston Tap Company and Tony Williams Ballet (Boston).

Raja, “Gawdess” at the Post Office Cabaret
Raja, winner of Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 3, stars in her first solo show, which debuted in New York City. Exotic and edgy, Raja is sure to delight her fans, drag enthusiasts and fashionistas alike. Six night run!

This weekend also begins the summer runs of Electra, the 2017 edition of Ptown Male Call, and comedian Kate Clinton. These performers now join the other Ptown favorites Miss Richfield 1981, Dina Martina, and Illusions that have been performing nightly at the Crown and Anchor too.
