Blessing of Fleet Provincetown Portuguese Festival

What:  The Blessing Of The Fleet. Boats gather in Provincetown Harbor, decorated for the blessing by Bishop Edgar Da Cunha S.D.V. The fleet will be judged for their decorations. The blessing is preceded by a Fisherman’s Mass and the After Mass Procession. Details below.

When: Sun, Time TBA; Limited participation this year

Where: Macmillan Pier (Center of Town) | Directions

Cost: Free

When: Sun, 10:30 – 11:30am

Where: St. Peter the Apostle Church, 11 Prince St | Directions

After Mass Procession

Procession leaves St. Peters as a group for the short walk to MacMillan Pier for the 70th annual Blessing of the Fleet. They are bearing banners that honor the fishing fleet past & present.

When: Sun, 12 – 1 pm

Where: Starts at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 11 Prince St to MacMillan Pier | Directions
