2018 Schedule of Events

Saturday

Jingle Bell Run & Champagne Brunch

What: This annual holiday benefit run and brunch is a great way to kick-off the holiday in Provincetown! The run begins at Fanizzi’s, continues along Commercial St and ends at the Crown and Anchor. Participants (runners and diners) are encouraged to dress in their favorite holiday costume. In the past, many don bathing suits!

The Barefoot Champagne Brunch at the Crown & Anchor begins at 10:30 and features scrambled eggs with ricotta & basil, brioche french toast w/ pumpkin cream, house smoked bacon, local roasted potatoes, granola with yogurt and fruit, coffee, tea & juice, complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

When: Sat, 12/1

  • Run: 9:30 am – 10:30; Run begins at 10 am
  • Brunch: 10:30 – Noon

Holiday Celebration Featuring Boston Gay Men’s Chorus

What: Come to the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum for a special celebration featuring members of the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus! Homemade hot cocoa and cookies will be served. The Boston Gay Men’s Chorus, who will be performing their holiday concert at Town Hall on Saturday, 12/1 at 8:30.

When: Sat, 12/1, 11 am

Where: Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum, 1 High Pole Hill Road | Directions

Souper Saturday

What: At this fundraiser for the Soup Kitchen in Provincetown, you’ll get a chance to sample soup specialities from participating Ptown restaurants and eateries. SKIP provides nutritious and healthy meals in a welcoming and warm atmosphere for all individuals on the Outer Cape, Monday through Friday during November to March.

When: Sat, 12/1; 11 am – 2 pm

Holly Folly Inn Stroll

What: Stop in Holly Folly Headquarters at Tin Pan Alley (269 Commercial St | Directions) to sign up and get a bracelet! Then start your tour of participating guest houses and inns decked out for the holidays and serving light refreshments.

When: Sat, 12/1; 2 – 4 pm

Holly Folly Drag Bingo

What: Kick off the season in style by dressing in your best holiday outfit and joining in on the fun. Tiki Bronstein hosts this annual event benefit for the Provincetown Business Guild.

Esera Tuaolo

Who: Known for his musical performances on The Voice, Esera Tuaolo performs his first summer run in Provincetown. Tuaolo joined Team Blake but was eliminated in the top 3 round. In addition to his music career, Tuaolo played in the NFL for nine years for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, and Carolina Panthers. After retiring, he came out as gay in 2002 and became a LGBT advocate for the LGBT community, specifically working with different sports organizations to combat homophobia.

The Boy Band Project

What: Baubles, Bangles, and Boy Bands… Nothing puts you in the holiday spirit more than four sexy guys giving you all the moves, music, and magic of your favorite boy band holiday albums!  The Boy Band Project: Holiday Edition, is an interactive boy band holiday spectacular that re-imagines the sound, movement, and energy of NSYNC, The Backstreet Boys, Hanson, One Direction, Boyz II Men, and more.  This musical thrill-fest features a cast direct from Broadway’s Wicked, Hair, Cabaret, Mamma Mia, The Book of Mormon, Altar Boyz, and Rock of Ages.

Boston Gay Men’s Chorus – Holiday Concert [SOLD OUT]

What: One of New England’s largest and most successful community-based choruses, the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus performs their annual Holly Folly concert. Enjoy the perfect kick-off to the holiday season in Provincetown Town Hall. This year’s concert is titled Brass, Bows & Boys – complete with an 8 piece orchestra. Buy your tickets early as this event as always sells out!

When: Sat, 12/1; Doors open at 7:30, concert begins at 8:30

Lee Squared: An Evening with Liberace and Peggy Lee

Who: David Maiocco and Chuck Sweeney reprise their iconic performances as the music legends Liberace and Peggy Lee, who defined four decades of music and pop culture. Maiocco and Sweeney won the New York City Bistro and MAC Award for outstanding comedy duo.

When: Fri, 11/30 & Sat, 12/1 at 8 pm

‘Tis the Season for Giving Fundraiser

What: Kick off Holly Folly Weekend and get into the spirit of giving with the annual ‘Tis the Season for Giving holiday drag show. This annual fundraiser benefits the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod (ASGCC). Your show hostesses – Anita Cocktail & Barbie Cue – along with many more talented and generous drag performers!
