Pilgrim Monument Holiday Lighting

Provincetown New Years First Light

What: Celebrate the Pilgrims’ first landing in America in November of 1620 with us at this year’s annual Lighting of the Pilgrim Monument. Last year, almost 1500 guests watched as the School Chorus “threw the switch” to light the Monument with more than 3,100 landing lights which shine nightly. The lights will remain up through January 2018.  Admission is free and refreshments and entertainment will be available.

This year, the Monument is sponsoring a “Monumental photo contest” for the best photo of the monument lit up. Just send your photo to the Monument by January 13, 2019.

Donate to support this traditional monument lighting event.

When: Wednesday, November 21, 2018; 5 – 7 pm; Lighting is at approximately 6pm

Where: Pilgrim Monument & Provincetown Museum, High Pole Hill Road
