What: To start off the new year, the Provincetown Theater will host Winter Play Dates, a FREE reading series of new American full-length plays every other Tuesday beginning January 15.
The series includes six new full-length plays directed and performed by local artists and are curated by playwright, author, and former executive director of the Dramatist Guild, Gary Garrison, along with Provincetown Theater artistic director David Drake. Participating playwrights range from local to regional to national. Following each reading, the playwright will engage in a talkback with the audience, facilitated by either Garrison or Drake. All performances begin at 7 pm. No reservations necessary; first come, first serve general seating. A cash bar in the lobby, including snacks and hot drinks, will be open for every performance.
