Memorial Day Weekend

When: Thu, 5/21/20 – Mon, 5/25/20

Where: All over Provincetown!

Memorial Day is when Provincetown comes alive after a winter slumber and kicks off the summer season. You have your choice of music, comedy and drag performers, and the art galleries all are open for the season.

The Provincetown ferries are running daily: The ferries are the fastest, easiest and by far the most relaxing way to get to Provincetown.

Provincetown Memorial Day weekend

Not only is it Memorial Day Weekend, but everything opens–shops, performances, restaurants and activities. This weekend also kicks off the Friday Night Gallery Stroll, where many of the galleries will be featuring their opening season show.  Tea Dance is also now running weekends with a special Monday Tea Dance.

It may even be warm enough for a day at the beach, kayaking, or paddle boarding. And Memorial Day in Provincetown is a great time to explore the nature beauty of Provincetown. There are plenty of tour options: Whale Watching, Dune Tours, Trolley Tour, and Bike Tours.

Music! Drag! Comedy! Theater! Provincetown has it all this Memorial Day Weekend!

Music and Comedy

In 2019, singer and actress Beth Malone and musician and songwriter Melissa Ferrick performed. Comic Judy Gold also performed. We’ll publish performers as soon as they are finalized, generally in March/April timeframe.

The Provincetown Theater always has a first-class play running during the holiday. We’ll publish it as soon as the theater announces their schedule.

Drag Shows

The Crown and Anchor has plenty of entertainment options this weekend. The glorious grand ladies of Illusions return with their show of glamour, comedy, and popular songs in a Las Vegas-style drag revue. Thirsty Burlington also returns with The Cher Show, with live vocal and plenty of costume changes.

At the Pilgrim House, Miss Richfield begins her summer run with her all new summer show.
