Dine at one of the many restaurants:  Start an evening out by sharing a quiet dinner at one of the many restaurants still open during “off-season.” Check out our What’s Open: Eats page for up-to-date information on your favorite restaurants.

Shop local: Visit some of the unique stores still open for “off-season” to find a one-of-a-kind gift for your Valentine! Here’s a list of the shops and services that are open!

Walk the Jetty: Put on your coats and take a walk arm-in-arm at the West End jetty.

Watch the Sunset at Herring Cove Beach: The sun setting over the water makes for a romantic start to an evening out. Pack a blanket and head to Herring Cove Beach, one of the best spots in PTown to watch the sunset! Here’s how to get there.

Go see a film at Waters Edge Cinema: Provincetown’s art house cinema is open year-round. The Water’s Edge Cinema is part of the Provincetown Film Society, a non-profit organization who’s mission is to foster the film arts in Provincetown. The great arts organization also runs the Provincetown International Film Festival and the Provincetown Film Institute. Enjoy a film and support Provincetown film arts at the same time!

Take in the arts in Provincetown: The Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) is a nationally recognized, accredited, year-round cultural institution. PAAM fuses the creative energy of America’s oldest art colony with the natural and boundless beauty of Cape Cod, embodying the qualities that make Provincetown an enduring American center for the arts.

  • Cost: $10 general admission, Free for PAAM members and children 12 and under
