Official Pride Ferry

What: Start the weekend by taking Bay State Cruises fast ferry to Provincetown. Enjoy a Special Tito’s PRIDE Cocktail!

Join us on the official Provincetown Pride Ferry!  Hop on where the party begins.

When: 1pm & 5:30 pm

Stonewall Stroll

What: In honor of the 50th, the Stonewall Museum & Archives, Fort Lauderdale, FL has created and printed 17 large poster size panels that tell the story of the Stonewall Inn Riots and will be displayed posters throughout town with sponsoring businesses. Handheld and mobile maps will guide you around town. It’s a great way to see Stonewall history and Provincetown! Co-sponsored by The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank.

When: Fri, 5/31, starting at 3 pm through Sat, 6/1

Global Rainbow Provincetown

Pride Global Rainbow

What: International artist, Yvette Mattern monumental laser light installation, the Global Rainbow will appear from across Provincetown Harbor.

Mattern is a New York and Berlin based visual artist. Her Global Rainbow has been presented at The Cultural Olympiad in the Northeast, Northwest England and Northern Ireland and at Transmediale in Berlin, Nantes, France, Nuit Blanche Metz, Toulouse, France, New York City with Art Production Fund, New Haven, CT with Site Projects, Nuit Blanche Toronto, Londonderry, Northern Ireland, Las Vegas, and a special presentation in Pittsburgh with Lightwave International.

When: Friday, 5/31 – Sunday, 6/2, 8 pm – 2 am

Where: Installation will be shown from across Provincetown Harbor, so it’ll be visible from many locations in Provincetown.


Official PRIDE Kick-off Party

What: Official dance party to benefit The LGBTQ Welcome Center

Where: Velvet Lounge, 258 Commercial St | Directions

Stonewall Inn Witnesses to History

What: The Provincetown LGBTQ Welcome and Resource Center hosts a one-hour interview/Q&A program with Stonewall Veterans. Moderated by the Executive Director of the Stonewall Museum and Archives, the event is sure to be a fascinating discussion of a pivotal night in the fight for LGBTQ equal rights. Proceeds from the event will benefit both the Provincetown LGBTQ Welcome and Resource Center and The Stonewall Museum and Archives for Wilton Manors, FL.

Sashay to Tea Dance

What: Join us for the highly unofficial PRIDE “Sashay to Tea”-  sashay, stroll, march on over to the Boatslip’s Tea Dance. Just like the drag queens who were arrested at Stonewall 50 years ago, we will continue our tradition of “sashaying to Tea” led by Provincetown’s fabulous drag queens. Show your pride!

Surprise Performance Under the Global Rainbow

What: Celebrate a PRIDE “Under the Global Rainbow” performance with a Special Guest at The Club (formally The Pied)! This performance is a fundraiser for The LGBTQ Welcome Center.

When: 7 pm to 9:30 pm

What: Night 2 of Yvette Mattern’s Global Rainbow.

Where: Over Provincetown! Starting in the far west end and shining eastward above Commercial Street.

Sundays in the Park Special Author Event: Russ Lopez

What: Come to the new harborside park behind East End Books Ptown with historical author Russ Lopez, as he explores his new book on “The Hub of the Gay Universe -An LGBTQ History of Boston, Provincetown and Beyond”. This event is part of the Center’s LGBTQ Author Series and is in association with East End Books and Captain’s Daughters, which will be serving free refreshments! Donations welcome.

When: Sun, 6/2, 3 – 4 pm

Where: Provincetown’s Harborside Park, behind East End Books, 389 Commercial St | Directions
