If you’re planning to visit in Ptown during the summer of 2018, Provincetown’s vibrant music scene offers plenty of options with a variety of national and local performers!

Starting this week – the Summer Concert Series at Herring Cove.

Here are three venues that you count on hosting concerts during summer 2018.

Summer Concert Series at Herring Cove

This FREE concert series begins in late June and runs through Labor Day, and showcases local musicians every Wednesday and Sunday summer night. The 2018 season has just been announced! Check out list of 2018 performers

Bring a chair, and enjoy a concert with one of Cape Cod’s most beautiful beach and sunset as a backdrop! Food, drinks, beer and wine are available at the Pavilion from Far Land On The Beach.

 

Payomet Performing Arts Center

The Payomet Performing Arts Center an open air pavilion in Truro – is a short 15 minute drive from Ptown. The Center has already begun selling tickets to Summer 2018 shows! Payomet Event Schedule

 

Great Music on Sundays @ 5 Series

The Great Music on Sundays @ 5 Series hosts a different musical program every Sunday.  The music ranges from classical, Broadway, solos and popular music. The Unitarian Universalist Meeting House (“the UU”) includes a Steinway grand piano and a 1850 Holbrook tracker organ. They’ll be announcing their 2018 line-up soon!

Well-Strung, Singing String Quartet

Who: Well-Strung – the critically acclaimed singing string quartet – returns to Provincetown for a summer run at The Art House.  Their most recent CD titled POPssical debuted at #8 on Billboards Classical Crossover Chart and #9 on Billboards Classical Chart.

You may recognize Well-Strung members Christopher Marchant and Trevor Wadleigh on CBS’ The Amazing Race as #TeamWellStrung this past winter.

Well-Strung String Quartet Provincetown

Steve Grand

Who: Steve Grand’s first music video, All-American Boy, tells the story of unrequited love between two men, and took the internet storm when it was released. Since then, Grand has been touring nationally and internationally, using his entertainment platform to advocate for Human Rights and LGBT Equality. Watch Steve’s Youtube channel.

Esera Tuaolo

Who: Known for his musical performances on The Voice, Esera Tuaolo performs his first summer run in Provincetown. Tuaolo joined Team Blake but was eliminated in the top 3 round. In addition to his music career, Tuaolo played in the NFL for nine years for the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons, and Carolina Panthers. After retiring, he came out as gay in 2002 and became a LGBT advocate for the LGBT community, specifically working with different sports organizations to combat homophobia.
