Marti Gould Cummings Balls Drop – A Pre New Years Drag Concert

Who: Marti Gould Cummings and his husband Blake Allen bring their show, “Marti Gould Cummings Balls Drop – A Pre New Years Drag Concert”, a mix comedy and music to Provincetown during New Year’s weekend. Cummings is a NYC based drag artist who performs weekly in NYC. 

Cummings long running Broadway talk show, Stage Fright, has featured over 100 Tony, Emmy, Golden Globe, Grammy, and Oscar winning and nominated guest. And last year Marti was the creator, producer, and star of the Fusion television networks most streamed show Shade: Queens of NYC.

Marti Gould Cummings Drops the Ball Provincetown

The Dina Martina Christmas Show

What: One night only! Dina Martina returns to “Province Town” with her special Christmas Show. Dina performs a wondrous and surreal blend of questionable song, unnecessary dancing, and fabulous – and literally side-splitting – costumes.

Thirsty Burlington, Cher Live!

Who: Provincetown’s local Drag legend Thirsty Burlington will be performing “Cher Live” New Year’s weekends at the Crown and Anchor! All live vocals – and plenty of costume changes!

Outer Cape Chorale and Chamber Singers

Who: The Outer Cape Chorale and Chamber Singers performs two seasonal pieces:

Fauré Requiem: Come and be awed by the spectacular 35-minute long Fauré Requiem – a perennial favorite of the choral repertoire known and loved throughout the world.  Fauré’s lush beautiful melodies are at once haunting and soothing and not easily forgotten.

When Icicles Hang!: This composition is based on Shakespearean texts. The cycle is a delightful set of heart-warming secular carols of winter that will lead you into the holiday season.

Outer Cape Chorale Holiday Concert

Coffeehouse At The Mews

What: Each Monday, the Coffeehouse highlights a local Cape performer. The night also includes an open mic session for writers, playwrights, poets, singers, songwriters, and comedians. See the list of 2018 – 2019 performers.

There’s also an open mic portion of the show. Open mic performers who wish to perform should sign up at 6:30pm.

When: Dec 2018 – May 13, 2019 (Note: No Coffeehouse shows on Monday, 12/24 and Monday, 12/31.)

Suede New Year’s Concert – Crown & Anchor

Who: Suede’s annual New Year’s Concert for First Light Provincetown! The Boston Globe says she’s “Wicked exciting!” The Crown & Anchor is Suede’s Provincetown home. She’s always thrilled to come back for a few shows a year with her great New England band, Fred Boyle, piano, Rich Hill, bass and Steve Langone, drums. Always… Patsy Cline

WhatAlways… Patsy Cline, features 27 hit songs from the legendary singer. The velvet-voiced Laura Cappello stars in the title role, and the hilarious Julia Salinger plays her best friend. This musical memoir, written by Ted Swindley, is based on a true story. Directed by David Drake with musical direction by John Thomas.

Sandy Claus – Out of the Claus-et

What: Who ever Said Santa was an only child? This Christmas join the Pilgrim House as it hosts Out of the Claus-et, a live interview with Sandy Claus: Santa’s older, gayer drunker sister. From #metoo to the elf uprising of 2001, Sandy dishes the dirt with newest up and coming reality tv journalist, America Stevens.

Starring Kristen Becker and Darlene Van Alstyne, the lovable drunkard Sandy Claus sets the record straight about the North Pole and removes the shroud of secrecy that has long hidden the truth’s around Santa’s empire.
