What: Ryan Landry’s latest play, Brokelahomo, is about a town in trouble. Overrun by dirty, outlaw gays, the few law abiding citizens left must spend their days dodging bullets, putting out church fires and fearing for their pets lives. That is until a heterosexual is sent for. Enter Dusty Rhodes, the unlikely hero of this far out fable set in the groovy 1860s! Will Dusty clean up the town? Or will the gay cattle rustlers and homo hoodlums head him off at the pass? These questions and more will all be answered with a hearty Yippee-I-Oh-So-Gay!

Hair: The Musical
The Peregrine Theater Company presents the summer run of the popular musical “Hair”. Book and lyrics by James Rado & Gerome Ragni. Music by Galt MacDermot. Directed by Kyle Pleasant.
Love! Valour! Compassion!
Terrence McNally’s Love! Valour! Compassion! is the story of friendship, loyalty, lust and love between an intergenerational group of gay men who gather over the course of one summer. NOTE: The production is for mature audiences only. It includes adult situations, frank language, and full-frontal nudity.
The Rise and Fall (and Rise) of Martha Stewart
What: “The Rise and Fall (and Rise) of Martha Stewart” tells the fascinating story of the woman who changed the way we live our lives by daring us to try harder. From her humble beginnings in Nutley, New Jersey to her empire-building years in Westport, Connecticut, to her highly-publicized stint in federal prison, this is a chronicle of epically blind ambition set to the music of artists as varied as Beyonce, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Adele and Metallica.
Provincetown Murder Mystery
Fri, 8/17 – Tue, 8/21
What: Direct from a hit engagement in New York City, Lucky Devil Theater Company and The Crown & Anchor present Anthony Gelsomino’s Provincetown Murder Mystery. Touted as a “camptastic adventure through everything Provincetown”, Lucky Devil Theater Company promises plenty of laughs and surprises.
Featuring the talents of Provincetown local favorite Liza Lott (Hocus Pocus featuring Jinkx Monsoon), this laugh-a-minute romp tells the tale of 3 best friends who rent a haunted hideaway right above Dick Dock in Ptown. Gene Dante (God Save The Queen) stars as the alpha bear Danthony, Karl Gregory (NightCap with Jeff Hiller) is the ex twink Bleache and Ben Dawson (Chefs!) adds the hunk factor as a bulging Bulgarian. Hilarity ensues when the threesome are forced to avenge a ghost’s past lover or face impending doom. And who better to voice this sassy spectre than RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars alum Shangela Laquifa Wadley.
Who knew that a simple carefree weekend in Provincetown would become a murderiffic laugh out loud misadventure?
When: Fri, 8/17 – Sun, 8/19 at 7 pm; Mon, 8/20 & Tue, 8/21 at 7:30 pm
Where: Paramount at the Crown & Anchor, 247 Commercial St. | Directions
Cost: $28.50 | Buy Tickets
Midnight at The Never Get
What: Midnight at The Never Get imagines two men who never existed at a time that very much did. Trevor Copeland and Arthur Brightman have the perfect New York romance – but it’s 1965 and against the law. So in the back room of The Never Get, an illegal Greenwich Village gay bar, they put together a show called Midnight, a queer nightclub act where Arthur writes love songs for Trevor to sing to a man. By the late 60’s, tensions in the Village reach a breaking point, and the lovers find themselves caught in a relationship they can’t control and a movement they don’t understand.
Revues & Burlesque
The nostalgia runs hot this summer as we remember the legendary male strippers of a bygone era.

Part theater, part dance, part peep show and all male.
Star Boys, Sci-Fi Burlesque Show
A sci-fi burlesque show performed by the fully naked Star Boys.
